Pricing

* A 6-mat room is priced at JPY45000 per month, the first month of which is to be paid upon arrival.
* A 4.5-mat room is priced at JPY 42000 per month, the first month of which is to be paid upon arrival.
* A security deposit of JPY50000 is also to be paid upon arrival.

Please note that the first month’s rent and the refundable security deposit must be paid in cash upon arrival. All future rents are also to be paid in cash when due.

To ensure that you have the required cash in Japanese Yen to pay the first month’s rent plus the security deposit upon arrival, please prepare this amount prior to leaving your country. Most banks in Japan do not allow for the withdrawal of this amount from foreign bank accounts in one day. 


Security Deposit
The security deposit is fully refundable upon vacating the property if the room that you’ve rented is left in the same clean and tidy state in which you occupied it, garbage has been removed and disposed of, and damage is within the limits of normal wear and tear on the property.
* Costs to return the room to the same condition as that in which you occupied it will be deducted if these conditions have not been met.
* If garbage has not been disposed of, or if there has been other damage to the property that has been caused by you, the associated costs of garbage disposal or repair of property, fixtures, fittings, or appliances will be deducted from the security deposit.

Utilities  
Water and gas:
Costs associated with water and gas are included in the rent. 
Electricity:
Costs up to JPY5000 per person in residence per month are included in the rent. If the electricity bill exceeds this amount, residents will be charged according to the amount of electricity they have used in their private rooms during the month, determined by the meters located outside each guest room.

Cleaning
In order to keep costs down, residents agree to complete a quick and easy maintenance cleaning task each and every day, rotating through the tasks (details will be provided if you are considering making a reservation). A cleaner does a more general overall clean once a week, and the spaces are also deep cleaned regularly.
