It occurred to me today that a) we’ve been eating dinner at home exclusively for months, and b) that we have had hiyayakko (tofu topped with spring onion, shaved fish, and other things) every day.  It makes for a great snack, a good quick breakfast, and a wonderful side dish for lunch or dinner.

Of course, it is even better because Kyoto has the most delicious varieties of tofu in Japan. Don’t forget to taste some Hiyayakko while you are here!
